Vanke Group is one of the most famous and largest real estate developers in China, which was listed on Fortune Global 500 in 2016 and 2017 consecutively. With its core businesses extended from real estate development and property management to commercial development and operations,Vanke Group will open a new commercial realty project called Huanglong Vanke Center in the second half of year 2018.
Huanglong Vanke Center is located at Huanglong, one of the best places in Hangzhou, the home to many Hangzhou’s high-tech companies, universities and around 300,000 young and energetic white-collars. Aiming to be the 24hr destination for those people, the Center has been built as a large scale creative experiential complex and knowledge mall comprised of 9 office buildings and 80,000 m2 commercial spaces hosting shopping centers, neighbourhood streets, convention centers and international kindergartens. It is not only a one-stop mall to meet the needs for shopping and entertainment, but also a modern center for the white-collars to work, live and get refreshed from experiencing new retailing services of the Center.
In order to create more targeting and experiential services, a thorough understanding of customer traffics and shopper behavior is necessary. Around 100 to 200 Wi-Fi enabled TD 2D intelligent sensors are being deployed in all the entrances of the complex and inside main retailers’ stores, to help operators of the complex collect highly accurate traffic flow statistics, understand how different brands would obtain and retain customers, and evaluate the impact of marketing campaigns for attracting people.
