Qeelin- a fine jewellery brand of Kering
Qeelin is a fine jewellery brand created in 2004 in Hong Kong, China. Taking inspiration and emotional resonance from Chinese symbolism, the brand has quickly won popularity and opened stores throughout the world. In the Greater China area, there are more than 35 stores in metropolitan cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, etc. Now a part of the global luxury group Kering, Qeelin operates stores in 10 countries of Asia, Europe, North America and Oceania.
As a luxury brand, Qeelin deeply understands the importance of collecting the footfall traffics of its stores so as to improve the overall performance and operational effectiveness. Nevertheless, it is a great challenge to identify and exclude staff from the total footfall traffics while protecting consumer privacy. After testing TD deep learning 3D sensors for a couple of days, the brand quickly decided to deploy the sensors in its stores located in Shanghai and other areas later on.
The premium version TD Deep Learning 3D Sensors are deployed overhead in selected Qeelin stores for collecting highly accurate footfall traffic data while featuring the following key benefits:
- Identifying and excluding staff data from the overall data statistics
- Identifying and collecting consumers’ attributes including gender for demographics analytics
- Using typical, overhead mounted sensors other than expensive facial recognition solutions
- Protecting consumer privacy while collecting significant data anonymously
